## About the role
We're hiring a Head of Payments and Identity to lead Predict's global payments infrastructure, identity systems, onboarding flows, and platform trust architecture.
This is a critical leadership role for someone who deeply understands payment systems, fraud prevention, KYC infrastructure, identity verification, compliance workflows, and user onboarding at scale.
You'll work closely with the founding team, product, engineering, and operations teams to build seamless payment experiences while maintaining strong platform security, trust, and compliance standards.
We're looking for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, understands global fintech infrastructure, and knows how to build scalable systems that balance user experience with operational integrity.
## What you'll do
- Lead Predict's global payments and identity infrastructure strategy - Manage integrations with payment processors, on-ramp providers, identity verification systems, and financial partners - Build and optimize onboarding, KYC, KYB, authentication, and account verification flows - Develop fraud prevention systems, risk management processes, and transaction monitoring strategies - Improve payment success rates, onboarding conversion, and overall user trust systems - Collaborate with engineering, product, legal, and compliance teams on secure platform architecture - Monitor evolving global compliance standards, payment regulations, and identity verification requirements - Analyze payment performance, fraud metrics, onboarding funnels, and operational risks - Scale internal systems and processes to support global user growth
## What we're looking for
- Strong experience in payments, fintech infrastructure, identity systems, fraud prevention, or compliance operations - Deep understanding of payment processors, KYC providers, authentication systems, and transaction risk management - Experience working with global payment flows, fiat infrastructure, or crypto payment systems - Strong analytical and operational problem-solving skills - Ability to manage cross-functional initiatives across product, engineering, operations, and compliance - Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with high ownership - Strong communication and leadership skills - Passion for fintech, crypto, prediction markets, or internet-native financial products is a strong plus - Bonus: experience scaling payments or identity systems for Web3, trading, fintech, or consumer internet platforms
