1. Overview
Predict Protocol is a decentralised prediction-market application that runs on the BNB Smart Chain. This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect when you interact with predictprotocol.app and related services, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the site or the protocol you agree to the practices described below.
2. Information we collect
We do not require user accounts and we do not ask for personal information to use the protocol. We do collect the following when you interact with the site:
- Wallet address: When you connect a wallet, your public address is visible to the site and to the on-chain contracts you interact with. Blockchain activity is inherently public.
- On-chain activity: Trades, markets you create, and claims are stored immutably on BNB Smart Chain. We index a subset of this data (positions, odds history, leaderboard aggregates) to serve the UI.
- Technical telemetry: Standard server logs (IP, user-agent, request timing) are recorded by our hosting providers to diagnose outages and abuse. We do not use these logs to build a user profile.
- Cookies: We use strictly necessary cookies to preserve session state (e.g. theme, preferred chain). We do not run third-party advertising cookies.
3. How we use information
We use the information above to operate the site, display the markets you are participating in, serve leaderboards, investigate bug reports, and enforce the Terms of Service. We do not sell or rent user data.
4. Third-party services
The site relies on independent third-party services that have their own privacy practices:
- Wallet providers (e.g. MetaMask, WalletConnect) that you choose at connection time.
- RPC providers used to read and write to BNB Smart Chain.
- Hosting providers used to serve the frontend and backend.
- Indexing and analytics providers used to aggregate on-chain events.
You should review their policies before use.
5. Your choices
You may use the protocol without connecting a wallet to browse public data. When a wallet is connected you may disconnect at any time. Because blockchain transactions are irreversible, data recorded on-chain cannot be deleted. This is a property of the underlying network and not a choice we can make on your behalf.
6. Changes
We may update this policy as the product and regulatory landscape evolve. Material changes will be announced on the site. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
7. Contact
